We had a wonderful time participating in our first craft fair on Saturday in Sequin at the Yellow Rose Artisan Market. I was so anxious about getting everything ready in time. But thanks to my family's assistance, it was a very successful endeavour. The best part was meeting some fantastically talented fellow vendors, not to mention those beautiful people out supporting local businesses!
I was so impressed with the artists who have the organization and energy to be both creative and run a small business. Everyone was very kind.
The patrons of the market were equally fascinating. We had wonderful conversations about rock hunting and jewelry making.
We also learned a few more lessons about packing more efficiently for the next market. Speaking of which... we will be at the artisan market at Victoria's Black Swan Inn this weekend, Friday night and Saturday (weather permitting...crosses fingers). I hope to see everyone there!
